How long have you been teaching piano?

I have been teaching piano for over 10 years to individuals of all levels.

Professional Experience:

University of North Texas – Jazz Big Band and the Jazz singers (West End)
Many kinds of performance skills – Church band, Small group and solo piano

Accomplishments:

A music composition graduate of Kookmin University from her native Seoul, South Korea, Jinsook Kwak is the product of many years of formal music training in piano and classical music composition. Performing since the age of seven, JinSook first began her formal piano studies with Jiwon Ju, a graduate of South Korea’s prestigious Seoul University. It was under his tutelage that she began seriously exploring the mechanics, timbre, and possibilities of the piano. In addition to studies in Moscow and more recently, had taken lessons one year from Luke Gillespie who is a professor of the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, JinSook is currently advancing her musical studies in Jazz Performance at the renowned University of North Texas where she is a student of Yang Ding and John Dan Haerle.
