Kat is finishing up her Bachelor’s of Music Education degree at Texas Christian University, and will graduate in May of 2014. She has taken voice for over 9 years, but has been singing in choirs since the age of 3.
With the TCU Concert Chorale she has sung with notable artists and ensembles such as Andrea Bocelli, Helmuth Rilling, and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed in the chorus for the TCU opera’s production of Die Fledermaus. She recently performed her senior recital with over a half hour of advanced repertoire. Currently, she sings as a section leader and assistant children’s choir director at University Christian Church, and she is student teaching in preparation to become a middle school or high school choir director.
