Over 12 years.
Daniel Chilton began his musical studies on piano at the age of six and soon began cello at the age of nine. A native Texan, Daniel competed in many local competitions throughout his youth, such as the Jaunita Miller and Plano Symphony Concerto Competitions, along with being an All-State musician in high school. He attended Interlochen Music Festival allowing him to perform under the baton of Jung-Ho Pak and study with cello professors Astrid Schween and David M. Carter. Daniel completed his undergraduate under the tutelage of Eugene Osadchy at the University of North Texas and now studies at Southern Methodist University with Christopher Adkins. He performs locally with Irving Symphony and San Angelo Symphony along with teaching many students in his own private studio.

- Currently teaches private cello lessons for Lewisville ISD schools
