Professional Experience:

Jim Case has had a varied music career, starting out on guitar and soon branching out to mandolin, banjo, bass, steel guitar, and trumpet. This experience has given him an appreciation for a wide variety of styles, from jazz, blues and rock to country, folk and bluegrass. After studying jazz at Santa Rosa Junior College under Berklee graduate Bennet Friedman, he moved to Texas in 2004 to study country, rock and bluegrass with world-renowned musicians at South Plains College in Levelland. Jim has been teaching music professionally for over 10 years, having worked with children as young as five years old and helping them become performing level musicians. A family man, Jim has taught his wife and three children to play music, and performs with them and a variety of other talent throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area and Central Texas.
