Since I was 9 years-old – over 17 years
Accomplishments:
Karim Pool is an active violin teacher in the Flower Mound TX area, and enjoys teaching students of all ages. Karim has over 5 years of experience with professional orchestras which include among many the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra and the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra in Mexico. In the USA; Abilene Philharmonic, South Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, and Round Top Festival Orchestra.
Karim was also the youngest member in the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra to win a position. He has been concertmaster of the Youth Orchestra of Mexico during the summer tours of 2008 and 2009. During 2016 he played the Scheherazade Concertmaster soli with the Round Top Festival Orchestra and for three years he has been serving as a rotating concertmaster for the UNT Symphony Orchestra.
