Hailing from Arlington, Texas, Kayla DePretto is an artist with many voices. With 8 years of choral singing, 5 years of classical voice and musical theater training, and 3 years of jazz training, her teaching style incorporates elements of each style of singing to give a well-rounded approach to the use of the voice.
After competing in the Texas All-State choir process throughout her high school years, she started studying choral music at Oklahoma State University, under Z. Randall Stroope. After three years, she transferred her studies to University of North Texas and started working towards a BM in Jazz Studies with an emphasis in voice.
