Professional Experience:
Semi-professional until 2008. Full-time professional musician since then primarily playing and performing upright bass, guitar and mandolin in various bands as a hired sideman. I’ve performed and collaborated in genres such as: bluegrass, old-time, Americana, rockabilly, swing, jazz, singer/songwriter, original, praise & worship, country and high school stage bands.
Accomplishments:
- Fort Worth Weekly Awards with “Electric Mountain Rotten Apple Gang” and the “Blackland River Devils”
- Finalist in singer/songwriter competitions, “Chevy Sonic Sounds” (2011) and “Texas Independent Music Expo” (2010).
- Senior Level course work for the University of Texas Arlington in Jazz Studies Program
- AAS in Music from Cedar Valley College in Guitar Performance
- Received radio airplay and performed live on 89.3FM KNON and 88.7FM KTCU
