How many years have you been playing guitar?

I’ve played guitar and bass for over 13 years, I’ve been singing for 8 years, and played mandolin for over 5 years, as well as written, performed, and recorded my own music for now 6 years.

Professional Experience:

I offer the best guitar lessons in The Colony, Lewisville, Carrollton, and surrounding areas! I began my study of music at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, where my primary field of study was guitar performance in contemporary music. While at Booker T. Washington I was a member of the Downbeat Award-Winning Lab Singers, the Honorable Mentioned Latin American Ensemble, and the Pop Ensemble. I have played guitar and bass in a number of productions with Grapevine based theater OhLook Performing Arts Center, including Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson and the Rocky Horror Picture Show, played percussion with the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra. I have played in several bands over the years, but my primary focus has been studio projects showcasing my own performance and songwriting, particularly my projects Oak & Reed and la Matadora. In addition to my professional work and songwriting, I have been a private instructor forĀ  guitar, bass, mandolin, vocal performance, songwriting, and music theory for seven years.
