- Mikhail Berestnev’s international performances include concerts at the International Music House in Moscow, Sydney Opera House with Sydney Symphony, Municipal Theatre of Rio de Janeiro with Symphony Orchestra of Brazil, Flagey Theatre in Brussels with Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia as well as with San Angelo Symphony (San Angelo, USA), Symphony Orchestra of Texas Christian University (Fort Worth, Texas, USA).
- Being participant of concert programs by the International Music Fund under Maestro Vladimir Spivakov he performed in different part of Russia as a soloist and with Orchestra. Also he took part in Master Classes and concerts by Saint Petersburg Music House under Maestro Sergey Roldugin.
- Mikhail’s teachers were such musicians as Irina Grebenkina, Andrey Khitruk, Lyudmila Alekseeva, Alexey Skavronsky, Vladimir Tropp, Leonid Block, Olga Kondratieva, Elena Strikovskaya, Tamás Ungár.
- His Competition awards include: Gold Medal on the International Delphic Games in 2008; Second Prize on International Stanislav Neuhaus Piano Competition 2010; Fourth prize on 58th Maria Canals International Piano Competition in Barcelona and 10th Sydney International Competition of Australia in 2012; Second Prize on 3d BNDES International Piano Competition in Rio de Janeiro in 2012; Overall Winner on 53 Sorantin International Competition in 2013; Semifinalist on Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition 2013 in Brussels; He is prize winner of Texas, South Central Competitions by American MTNA Organization – both 1st Prizes and 3d prize winner of the National Competition in New York.
- Mikhail Berestnev also active in Chamber Music. In 2012 he got his Judith Solomon Piano Award in Chamber Music from Texas Christian University. Appeared with “Seraphim Trio”, San Paulo City String Quartet. Regularly performs with Japanese violinist Ayako Tanabe, Marina Dichenko, Cellist Laura Ospina as well as with different musicians from Bolshoi Theatre, Ensembles “Moscow Virtuosi” and “Musica Viva”. Took part in Master Classes with Hugo Wolf Quartet, Midori, Dmitriy Berlinsky, Elisabeth Adkins, Veda Kaplinsky, Nikolai Petrov.
