Bio:
Nicole Tse is a Hong Kong composer, pianist and flutist, and she is also an active piano teacher in Carrollton, TX. She graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she studied composition with Prof. Wai Kwong Chan, Prof. Wendy Wan-Ki Lee, and Dr. HauMan Lo. She also studies the flute under the tutelage of Ms. Izaskun Erdocia Uranga, Mr. Olivier Nowak, and Ms. Ivy Chuang. She is pursuing a master degree in composition at the University of North Texas, where she studies composition with Dr. Sungji Hong and Dr. Andrew May; flute with Dr. Elizabeth McNutt and Dr. James Scott.
Tse wrote music in a diverse styles, often demonstrating her imagination and philosophical thoughts on humanity. She is currently exploring the cultural expression in music, and is a piano teacher in Carrollton, TX. Interested in collaboration, Tse is active in multi-media art productions, including those with sculptors, poets, videographers, filmmakers, and actors.
